Membership offers businesses exposure in the community. Members are listed on our online directory with links to their own websites if desired. They are also listed in our annual Business Directory which is distributed throughout the community. Exposure in our local newspapers and on SFCN Channel 17 provides many ways to keep your business in front of the community and potential clients.
Noon Networking
The Chamber and member businesses host monthly Noon Networking Luncheons to allow members to mingle and network their businesses. Lunch is provided by member businesses and guest speakers are encouraged. Business Card Exchange is another way of networking your business to other local area businesses.
Welcome Bag Program for New Residents
The Chamber puts together a Welcome Bag for all new residents and businesses that sign up for City Utilities. Spanish Fork and Salem City Utility Departments give out these bags for the Chamber. The Cities can go through as many as 100 to 200 of these bags a month. The bags are filled with brochures, business cards, flyers, merchandise, or other items by member businesses.
Member Only Deals
Member Only Deals are sent in by member businesses and emailed out to the whole membership each week. Members can take advantage of these deals especially for them.
Sends Referrals to Your Business
The Chamber receives many calls and requests each month from people or organizations looking for various products and services. Only Chamber members are referred to those requests.
Acts as a Liaison Between Businesses and Government
The Chamber can serve as a voice for businesses in political issues with membership approval and direction.
Keeps You Informed
Through email and other publications, the Chamber keeps you informed of relevant local issues and upcoming business seminars, and community and chamber events.
Increases Awareness
The Chamber hosts quarterly informative seminars on a variety of business-related topics. Guest speakers can help keep businesses in our community aware of important issues. These seminars also provide a great networking opportunity.
Provides Great Marketing Opportunities
The Chamber provides great marketing opportunities for businesses in the community. With our Business of the Month program, we spotlight a deserving chamber member every month and advertise that business in local newspapers, Channel 17 TV and on our website. We provide Ribbon Cuttings to new businesses in the community. We advertise all chamber members on our website and in our annual business directory. Through annual Chamber events, businesses can donate time, items or money and receive valuable recognition in return.
